Writing Beer, Drinking Wine

Sitting on my porch writing beer reviews for my 100 Barrel-Aged/Oaked Beer Challenge, drinking this:

2007 Domaine Phillipe & Vincent Jaboulet Cornas: Smokey, peppery, mineral, spice, hints of marinating steak. All of the things I love about Northern Rhône Syrah. I want wines like these in my wine cellar ALL of the time.

The Jaboulet family has been making wine in Crozes-Hermitage for more than 200 years, and these 5th and 6th generation winemakers continue that legacy on their 74 acres of vineyards...
